Digital Asset Disclosure

This disclosure applies to all deposits, withdrawals and opportunities involving digital assets on the Private Investor Club platform.

Volatility

Digital-asset prices can move sharply and unpredictably, including to zero. Reference rates used in the portal are maintained by the administration and are not live market quotes.

Irreversibility

Blockchain transactions are final. Funds sent to an incorrect address, on the wrong network or with insufficient confirmations may be permanently lost. Always verify the address and network displayed in the portal before sending.

Custody

Assets are held through the club’s custody arrangements. Custody involves technology, key-management and counterparty risks. The club does not guarantee against loss arising from custody failure.

Network risk

Blockchain networks may suffer congestion, forks, protocol changes or attacks that delay or prevent transactions. Confirmation requirements and fees differ by network and may change.

Regulatory status

The legal and tax treatment of digital assets varies by jurisdiction and is evolving. Participation may be restricted or prohibited where you are resident.

Token opportunities

Tokens, protocol positions and token-sale participations carry additional risks including smart-contract defects, governance changes, lack of liquidity and the possibility that the project does not deliver. Review each opportunity’s documentation in full.

No insurance

Digital-asset balances are not covered by any deposit-insurance or investor-compensation scheme.
