Privacy Policy
Version 1.0
This Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected, used, stored and shared when you use the Private Investor Club website and member portal.
Information we collect
Access requests: name, email address, country and any message you provide. Member onboarding: identity details, date of birth, residential address, contact details, investor type, source of funds, tax residency, identity documents and any further information required for verification. Account activity: transactions, allocations, service requests, uploaded documents, messages, device and session information, and security events. Technical data: IP address, browser and device identifiers and server logs.
How we use it
To assess access requests and administer membership; to verify identity and comply with anti-money-laundering, sanctions and other legal obligations; to operate your account, process transactions and deliver services; to protect the Platform and detect fraud or misuse; to send service communications and, where you have opted in, notices about new opportunities; and to keep records required by law.
Legal basis
Processing is carried out to perform our agreement with you, to comply with legal obligations, and for legitimate interests in operating a secure, private platform. Where consent is required it is requested separately and can be withdrawn.
Sharing
Information is shared only with service providers engaged to operate the Platform (hosting, custody, identity verification, document storage, email delivery), with professional advisers, and with regulators, law-enforcement or courts where required. Providers act under contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations. We do not sell personal information.
Security
Personal information and submitted financial details are encrypted at rest. Access is restricted to authorised administrators under a role-based permission model, and every access to sensitive records is logged.
Retention
Verification and transaction records are retained for the period required by applicable law after the relationship ends. Other information is retained only as long as needed for the purposes described above.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, object to or restrict certain processing, and request portability. Requests should be submitted through the secure portal. Some information must be retained to meet legal obligations even after a deletion request.
International transfers
Service providers may process information in jurisdictions other than your own. Where this occurs, appropriate safeguards are put in place.
Changes
Updates to this Policy are published on this page with a new version number and notified to members inside the portal.
